Islamabad: Muslim League N senior leader and ex-defense minister Khwaja Asif said, the Punjab government and federal government were offered in return for supporting Bajwa’s Extension.
While talking to a private channel Khwaja said no one can fully affirm the offer in return for supporting Bajwa’s extension. The party’s leadership felt the need to support Bajwa’s extension at that time.
Ex-defense minister Khwaja Asif said that in Bajwa’s extension support, they gave him an offer, he added they talked to Khwaja sometime before the month in which the voting took place, Khwaja was asked about his decision and also anything in writing regarding the takeover of Punjab government in June and federal government in December, to which Khwaja replied I have made my decision with no ambiguities, My Leader Ex-prime minister Nawaz Shareef have directed me to not take any return favors, and he only accepted this offer on no demands. Khwaja said to whom I met and lastly used a word that we have tolerated him a lot.
