LAHORE: Law enforcement agencies conducted operations in Gujranwala and North Waziristan, resulting in the death of individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities. In Gujranwala, an exchange of fire occurred between the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and suspects, leading to the death of one individual.
Three others escaped, and a case has been registered against them. The CTD recovered arms, ammunition, and explosive materials from the scene. The agency is working to identify the deceased individual with the help of NADRA.
In a separate operation in North Waziristan, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation, resulting in the death of three individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities. A firefight ensued, and one suspect was injured.
