TANK: According to sources, Gomal Police Station was attacked by unknown armed men last night. Heavy fire was exchanged between the police and the attackers.
The attackers used heavy weapons during the attack on Gomal Police Station in the district Tank, leaving Police SHO Asghar Wazir wounded. The attackers escaped the scene after the night attack.
SHO Asghar Wazir was shifted to Dera Ismail Khan Hospital for medical attendance.
This is the second incident in a month where unknown armed men have targeted a police station. On the night of the 8th of October, unknown armed men targeted Hathala police station leaving two police personnel wounded and one martyred.
