SUKKUR: Polling at Polling Stations No. 3 and 04 of Sukkur Constituency NA-200 was disrupted as Presiding Officers left their duty posts.
The polling process was suspended for four hours until the Presiding Officers were brought back by the police following intervention from the District Returning Officer (DRO).
District Returning Officer Fayaz Mahesar confirmed that polling resumed after the return of the Presiding Officers. The authorities are investigating the reasons behind the officers’ departure.
The DRO assured that despite the temporary disruption, polling is proceeding smoothly across the district.
