Power supply fully restored, technical faults removed

Electricity consumers to pay Rs3.39 per unit addition surcharge

ISLAMABAD: Electricity supply, which was suspended in Islamabad and parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to technical fault this morning, has been fully restored.
Spokesperson for Power Division Zafaryab Khan said all the power plants are intact and they are functioning.
Explaining cause of the partial power failure, Zafaryab Khan said the electricity supply system was isolated due to tripping in Guddu and Muzaffargarh transmission lines.
