This announcement, made on the 16th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, outlines the following key points:
- Double people’s salaries as the top priority.
- Provide free electricity for up to 300 units.
- Ensure universal access to education for every child.
- Establish a nationwide free healthcare system.
- Construct 3 million houses for those unable to afford homes.
- Enhance the Benazir Income Support Program for poverty alleviation.
- Introduce a card for farmers, akin to the Benazir Income Support Program.
- Introduction of a Labour Card.
- Provide financial assistance to the youth through a ‘Youth Card.’
- Initiate the ‘Bhook Mitao Program’ to address hunger and food insecurity.
Bilawal emphasized the PPP’s fearless approach to elections, viewing them as spirited competitions.
Drawing attention to their past coalition experience, he criticized former partners for a lack of focus on critical issues like the economy, terrorism, and democracy.
Calling for unity to combat challenges such as inflation, unemployment, poverty, and terrorism, Bilawal urged setting aside internal disputes for a collective effort.
