President Asif Ali Zardari has raised serious concerns over the rising threat of Hindutva ideology in India. On Monday, he warned that this hardline belief system endangers not only Indian society but the entire region.
He made these remarks during a gathering at the President’s House. Leaders and workers of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had joined him for Eid ul-Azha greetings. While addressing the party members, President Zardari said that minorities in India, especially Muslims and Christians, are suffering under extremist policies.
He condemned the growing discrimination rooted in Hindutva ideology. According to him, this hardline Hindu nationalism is turning into a dangerous movement. He urged the global community to take notice of India’s radical Hindutva mindset before it leads to further instability.
President Zardari praised the dedication of PPP workers. He said they had remained loyal and firm in the face of political challenges. He encouraged everyone to remain committed to Pakistan and work together for the country’s progress.
“We need unity and loyalty to the nation,” he said. “Collective efforts are key to building a better future.”
He also highlighted Pakistan’s development potential. “Our country has the capacity to grow in many areas,” he said. Agriculture, he noted, is the foundation of the economy. Strengthening it will lead to national prosperity.
Zardari called for support for farmers. He said Pakistan can only move forward by uplifting this vital sector. He added that economic strength comes from empowering rural workers.
The president ended his address by stressing national unity. He said the people must stand together against threats like Hindutva ideology and work towards peace and development.
