Armaghan Qureshi, the prime suspect in the brutal murder of Mustafa Amir, has confessed to the crime while in police custody, shedding light on the horrifying details of the incident.
During interrogation, Armaghan admitted to attacking Mustafa Amir with a folding rod, causing injuries to his hands and feet. He then fired three shots with his rifle, claiming it was only to intimidate him.
He further revealed that he was under the influence of drugs at the time. In his confession, Armaghan stated that after assaulting Mustafa, he taped his mouth shut and bound his hands and feet before locking him in the trunk of his car. Shockingly, he admitted that Mustafa was still alive but semi-conscious when he set the vehicle on fire.
Police have recorded Armaghan’s confession, which will be presented in court following the completion of his four-day remand.
Authorities have also identified a woman who was reportedly present at Armaghan’s residence on the night of the crime. DNA evidence collected from the crime scene has linked her to the investigation. The police are now actively searching for her, as she was allegedly injured due to Armaghan’s violent behavior during the New Year’s Eve incident.
Investigators have uncovered a disturbing criminal past linked to Armaghan Qureshi. Between 2019 and 2024, multiple cases were registered against him at various police stations, including Darakhshan, Sahil, Gizri, Boat Basin, and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF). His charges range from terrorism and attempted murder to drug trafficking and intimidation.
Before his arrest, Armaghan attempted to erase all incriminating data from his laptops to cover his tracks. Authorities have discovered that he was running an illegal software house and call center from his residence in Gizri, scamming foreign clients out of millions of dollars. He also managed multiple digital currency accounts, using them for cryptocurrency fraud.
Police continue to investigate the case, gathering further evidence to uncover the full extent of Armaghan’s crimes. With his confession and mounting forensic evidence, authorities are determined to ensure justice for Mustafa Amir.
