ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad district administration on Friday granted permission to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public rally in the federal capital.
A representative from the Islamabad administration informed the Islamabad High Court during a hearing on the contempt of court plea filed by the PTI that administration has allowed to hold rally. Previously, the district administration had denied PTI permission to hold a rally despite an order from the IHC.
The IHC was informed that the Deputy Commissioner’s Office has now granted PTI permission to hold a rally on the Rawat-GT Road.
The district administration has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to PTI for the public rally, with 39 specific conditions. Among these conditions, anti-state slogans and speeches are prohibited, and the rally must conclude within the stipulated time.
