Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan asserted on Saturday that President Arif Alvi would extend an invitation for his party to govern, citing a majority in the National Assembly.
Addressing the media in Islamabad, Gohar Khan emphasized the party’s commitment to progressing within constitutional and legal frameworks.
“We seek to move forward without contention. Our government formation will adhere to the constitution and the law,” Gohar Khan stated, highlighting the democratic exercise where people freely voted, and Form 45 was duly prepared by presiding officers.
Insisting on the importance of adhering to Form 45 for result determination, Gohar expressed concern about potential economic ramifications if the people’s voice were suppressed.
He urged prompt result announcements, stating that they had received all the necessary forms, with a call for results before midnight.
Gohar noted that independent candidates in contact with PTI would remain loyal, contributing to the formation of an independent government.
He revealed plans for intra-party elections within 15 days and emphasized the people’s significant mandate for PTI.
Addressing accusations against the PTI founder, Gohar declared them as fake cases.

The PTI chairman assured a decision on the chief minister’s post within two days, expressing confidence in forming a government in Punjab.
