ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Sher Afzal Marwat has filed a constitutional petition in the Supreme Court challenging the results of the general elections.
In the petition, Marwat urges the court to invalidate the appointment of the chief election commissioner and other members. Additionally, he requests the court to void all Forms 47 from national and provincial assemblies, as well as the Election Commission of Pakistan’s investigation committee examining allegations of election rigging involving the Rawalpindi commissioner.
However, sources from the SC Registrar’s Office claim they have not received Marwat’s petition.
