The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has formally submitted a request to the local administration in Lahore seeking approval for the organization of a rally.
However, this request is distinctive because PTI is proposing alternative locations for the event. Instead of their initial preference for Liberty Chowk, PTI now wishes to conduct the rally at either Mochi Darwaza or Baba Ground Session Court.
This formal application has been lodged with the Deputy Commissioner’s office, outlining the party’s intention to hold the rally on the 19th of October.
Notably, this request has been made on behalf of PTI Central Punjab. The choice of alternative locations suggests a strategic consideration, possibly influenced by crowd management, logistics, or other pertinent considerations.
As the request is now in the hands of the authorities, it remains to be seen how the local administration will respond to PTI’s new proposal for the rally venue.
