KARACHI: The driver of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh was shot and killed near the Super Highway, close to the Chakar Hotel Akakhel ground.
Rescue officials reported that the 45-year-old victim’s body was transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
According to police, Shah Nawaz, a resident of Jangal Goth, was allegedly targeted by unknown armed suspects at a different location before his body was dumped near the hotel.
Investigators stated that Shah Nawaz suffered two gunshot wounds. The police are currently conducting further inquiries into the incident.
