PESHAWAR: The discovery of the body of a missing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader in Peshawar has sparked widespread protests and calls for justice.
The deceased, Yaqub Khan, who served as the PTI’s District Senior Vice President, had been reported missing for several days. His body was found in the Matni area of Peshawar, according to Express Tribune.
Following the discovery, Khan’s family and numerous PTI supporters gathered at Bab-e-Khyber to stage a protest. They placed Khan’s body in front of the landmark and demanded the arrest of those responsible for his death.
Protesters blocked Jamrud Bazaar Road and vowed to continue their demonstration until the culprits are identified and apprehended. They expressed their outrage over the incident and called for a comprehensive investigation to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
