ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has knocked at the doors of the Islamabad High Court for seeking permission to hold rally in Islamabad.
The PTI Islamabad district President Aamir Mughal filed the application through lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat on Tuesday.
Secretary Interior, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, IG Islamabad have been made parties in the petition.
It was prayed in the petition that the court issue orders to allow the public meeting to be held in Islamabad on March 30 at 10 pm at Parade Ground, F9 Park or D Chowk.
It was further requested that the court issue orders to close the roads on the day of the rally and not to take violent action against the participants.
