ISLAMABAD: Shoaib Shaheen, the spokesperson for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), declared on Wednesday his intention to contest in the elections from the National Assembly Constituency NA-46.
In discussions with a private news channel, Shoaib Shaheen, who is also a committee member of PTI, stated that he plans to run for the elections with the PTI ticket in Islamabad NA-46.
He mentioned that the allocation of tickets is currently under scrutiny by the core committee and the legal committee. In addition to political figures, a substantial number of lawyers will also be granted tickets.
Shaheen emphasized that the primary criteria for ticket selection are loyalty to the party and the country.
Furthermore, he conveyed that, under the leadership of Hamid Khan, the process of ticket distribution among lawyers will be concluded.
