PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will adopt condemnation resolution against the MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s controversial speech on Tuesday.
As per details, the PTI members in KP assembly will table a resolution against the MQM chief Altaf Hussain for his controversial speech from London. The resolution could not tabled today as it was not in the assembly agenda for today.
KP assembly speaker Asad Qaisar has asked the PTI members to submit the resolution in assembly secretariat which will be included in the assembly agenda for tomorrow.
It is pertinent to be mentioned here that PTI on Monday submitted condemnation resolutions in Punjab and Sindh assemblies against MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
In the resolution, submitted by opposition leader Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed in Punjab Assembly, PTI demanded that Altaf Hussain should be detained through Interpol, brought back to Pakistan and punished for breaching the constitution.
The resolution condemned Altaf Hussain’s speech in which he spoke against Pakistan Army besides seeking deployment of UN and NATO troops in Pakistan.
The resolution paid glowing tributes to the armed forces and eulogised the role of Rangers for curbing terrorism and bringing peace in Karachi.
PTI lawmaker Samar Ali submitted a similar resolution in Sindh Assembly, urging the federal government to take action against the party’s London-based supremo.
