PESHAWAR: Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah Tuesday accused the Punjab and federal governments of backing banned and terrorist groups in Punjab.
He was talking to newsmen at the Bilour House, where he condoled with Ghulam Bilour over the death of his wife. He said that Daesh and other terrorist groups are present in Punjab as they are being backed by Punjab and federal governments due to which terror attacks were happening in the country.
About China Pakistan Economic Corridor, the opposition leader held federal minister Ahsan Iqbal for ongoing differences over the corridor and said that the federal government has made the CPEC controversial. He asked the federal government to remove the reservations of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other provinces.
The PPP leader claimed that the federal government had not consulted the chief minister Sindh in this regard.
