Punjab Opens Second Phase of Agriculture Graduate Internship Program
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has rolled out the second phase of the Agriculture Graduate Internship Program 2025, aimed at equipping fresh graduates with practical experience in advanced farming practices.
The Punjab Government confirmed that this new round will support 2,000 young professionals. Each participant will receive a monthly stipend of Rs60,000 while gaining field-level exposure in agriculture and agricultural engineering.
Officials say the program is not just financial assistance but a “career launchpad,” focusing on building a skilled agricultural workforce.
Strengthening Agriculture and Youth Development
The initiative, managed by the Punjab Agriculture Department, follows the success of the first phase. It demonstrates the government’s ongoing efforts to professionalize Pakistan’s agriculture sector and empower the province’s youth.
The internship bridges the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. Interns will work to enhance productivity, sustainability, and innovation in Punjab’s farming practices.
