Qalandars beat Multan Sultans in an exciting rain-affected match of PSL 11, securing a 20-run victory at Gaddafi Stadium. A quick half-century from Mohammad Naeem and disciplined bowling helped Lahore defend a big total.

Batting first in a match reduced to 13 overs, Lahore Qalandars got off to a blazing start. Openers Mohammad Naeem and Parvez Hossain Emon added 86 runs in just five overs. Emon scored a rapid 45, while Naeem played a standout innings of 60 from 28 balls.

After the strong start, Abdullah Shafique kept the momentum going with a quick 33. Lahore finished on a massive 185/5, setting a tough target in a shortened game.

In response, Multan Sultans struggled early. They lost key wickets inside the powerplay and could not build steady partnerships. Shan Masood played a fast knock of 44, trying to bring his team back into the game.

Later, captain Ashton Turner fought hard and remained unbeaten on 52. He hit big shots towards the end, but the target proved too steep. Multan ended at 165/5, falling short despite a strong finish.

The result confirmed that Qalandars beat Multan Sultans with a solid all-round performance. Mustafizur Rahman led the bowling attack with two wickets, while Shaheen Afridi, Sikandar Raza, and Ubaid Shah supported well.

Despite some late resistance from Multan, Lahore stayed in control for most of the match. The early batting surge made the difference in the end.

With this result, Qalandars beat Multan Sultans and strengthened their position in PSL 11, while Multan faced their first defeat of the tournament.
