Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Supports Pakistan’s Diplomatic Efforts Amid Middle East Tensions

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that diplomatic contacts are continuing to reduce rising tensions in the Middle East. Officials confirmed that talks between regional leaders and parties involved in the conflict are still active through different diplomatic channels.

Speaking on the situation, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al Ansari said Qatar remains in close contact with both the United States and Iran. He added that efforts to find a peaceful solution are moving forward and diplomacy remains the best option to avoid further escalation.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also praised Pakistan’s diplomatic role in the crisis. According to Al Ansari, Pakistan has shown serious commitment in helping bring the concerned parties closer and encouraging dialogue to resolve the issue peacefully.

The spokesperson expressed concern over the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, calling it a vital international waterway. He stressed that no country has the right to block access to the strategic route. He also revealed that maritime movement has not fully returned to normal and only two LNG tankers have crossed the Strait of Hormuz so far.

Majed Al Ansari said communication with US President Donald Trump would continue as diplomatic discussions remain positive. He claimed that Trump delayed a possible attack on Iran after requests from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs further warned that recent attacks could damage the positive ties between Qatar and Iran. The spokesperson said all sides must continue diplomatic engagement to protect regional peace and stability.
