In Quetta FC Headquarters attack, two terrorists involved have been identified through NADRA using fingerprint verification, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) sources confirmed on Friday. One of the terrorists belonged to Mirri Adda while the other hailed from Chaghi district.
According to CTD, the body parts of other suicide attackers killed in the incident have been sent to Punjab for forensic analysis. Earlier, CTD had registered a case against unknown terrorists under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 and other relevant provisions.
Security officials recalled that on the morning of September 30, 2025, a Suzuki van packed with explosives attempted to target the Quetta FC Headquarters attack near Model Town, Pishin Stop, on Hali Road.
The suicide attacker’s vehicle was intercepted as it approached the security barrier, and forces immediately opened fire. During the intense exchange, five terrorists, including the suicide bomber, were killed. One of the attackers was shot dead before he could detonate the explosives.
Tragically, 12 innocent civilians were martyred, while 35 others sustained injuries during the assault.
