The Met Department has issued a weather forecast indicating that Islamabad will experience hot and humid conditions throughout the day. However, residents should prepare for a shift in weather patterns as the night approaches.
According to the Met Office, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers in Islamabad tonight.
The forecast also suggests that several districts across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan will experience rain in the coming days. The areas expected to see rainfall include:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Peshawar, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, Malakand, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Haripur, Kohat, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, and DI Khan.
Punjab: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, and Toba Tek Singh.
Balochistan: Quetta, Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Kohlu, Loralai, and Sibbi.
The coastal areas of Sindh may also witness light rain in a few locations, although it is expected to be less significant compared to other regions.
The Meteorological Department advises residents to stay updated on weather conditions, especially in areas prone to rain and strong winds, and to plan their activities accordingly.
