Rapper Balendra Shah Becomes Nepal Prime Minister at 35

Former rapper turned politician Balendra Shah has become the new Prime Minister of Nepal at the age of 35.

According to foreign media reports, Shah secured a major political victory during the recent political crisis that followed public protests against corruption. He defeated former prime minister KP Sharma Oli.

Shah’s party, Rastriya Swatantra Party, won a strong majority in parliament, paving the way for him to become one of the youngest prime ministers in the world.

Before becoming prime minister, Balendra Shah served as the mayor of Kathmandu. He gained popularity among young people through social media and his rap music. He also built his political image by taking a strong stance against corruption.

His rise from rapper to prime minister is being seen as a major political shift in Nepal, especially among young voters who supported his anti-corruption campaign.
