Rawalpindi’s Waris Khan police have arrested a man for harassing a woman while she was seeking spiritual healing, officials said on Monday.
The complainant told police that she had gone for a spiritual session when the accused engaged in inappropriate behavior. Following her report, the Waris Khan police promptly registered a case and arrested the suspect.
Rawalpindi SP confirmed that the detained individual would be presented in court with strong evidence. He also emphasized that any form of violence or harassment against women and children is completely unacceptable and will be dealt with strictly.
Authorities assured the public that such cases would be handled with full seriousness to ensure the safety of women and children in the city.
