Red warrants of Ishaq Dar shared with Interpol, AG informs SC

ISLAMABAD: A three-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday heard the case regarding the return of former finance minister Ishaq Dar.
At the outset of the proceedings, Attorney General (AG) informed the top court that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued a red warrant against Ishaq Dar.
The red warrant of former finance minister had been forwarded to Interpol, the Attorney General added.
Meanwhile, the interior ministry submitted a reply over Dar’s return saying that the former minister would be brought back to country with help of Interpol.
The bench then adjourned hearing of the case for two weeks.
