ISLAMBAD: The Youth Parliament Pakistan has announced that registration for 18th Youth parliament have been opened for interested youth.
According to a press release issued by Youth Parliament Pakistan, the interested individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 could submitted Expression of Interest (EOI) form available on its website till April 14, 2023.
The Youth Parliament Pakistan is an excellent opportunity for young people to develop their leadership skills, learn about the parliamentary process, and engage in debates and discussions on topics that affect their communities and the world at large. Participants will have the opportunity to work together with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds and gain a deeper understanding of democracy and civic engagement.
The 18th Youth Parliament Pakistan will consist of a series of sessions during a term of one year. Selected members will debate and vote on bills and motions, with the aim of developing and passing legislation that addresses pressing issues faced by their communities.
To be eligible to participate in the 18th Youth Parliament Pakistan, individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 29 and have a strong interest in volunteerism, social issues, politics, and leadership.
The press released stated that the Youth Parliament Pakistan is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. “We welcome individuals from all over Pakistan and strongly encourage applications from far-flung areas, women and transgenders, religious minorities, and persons with disabilities.”
