In response, Pakistan launched an overnight counterattack on militant targets in Iran.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed the importance of resolving differences through diplomacy to avoid regional chaos, emphasizing the shared membership of both countries in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
Turkey’s foreign ministry also urged restraint, emphasizing the need for resolving issues through friendship, brotherhood, and respect for sovereignty.
