In a video message released from Parachinar, Barrister Dr. Saif stated that they arrived in Kurram by helicopter to resolve the conflict. The government delegation included the Minister of Law, the Chief Secretary, and other officials.
He said that there was no firing on the government delegation’s helicopter in Parachinar. The media should refrain from spreading baseless news.
Regarding the Kurram conflict, Barrister said in another statement that meetings were held today with Shia leaders, and it is hoped that complete peace will be established in the region.
Barrister Saif said that the government wants to end the ongoing tension between the two groups.
He added that, according to the instructions of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, all issues will be resolved through dialogue, as ensuring peace and security in the region is a shared responsibility of the government and local leaders.
