Security Forces Eliminate 13 Militants in Intelligence-Based Operations in KP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa counter terrorism operations conducted by Pakistan’s security forces resulted in the elimination of 13 militants in coordinated intelligence-based actions across two districts of the province. The operations were carried out on the basis of credible intelligence inputs and targeted suspected militant hideouts.

In the Bara area of Khyber District, security forces launched an intelligence based operation after reports of militant presence. Troops moved swiftly to the location and engaged the targets. An intense exchange of fire followed, during which ten militants were eliminated.

In another intelligence based operation in Bannu District, security personnel identified and engaged a separate group of militants. Three militants were neutralized during the ensuing fire exchange. These actions form part of ongoing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa counter terrorism operations aimed at dismantling militant networks.

After the operations, security forces initiated sanitization efforts in both areas to clear any remaining threats. These follow-up measures are aimed at ensuring complete area security and preventing any regrouping of hostile elements.

Officials confirmed that Pakistan security forces continue their counter terrorism campaign under the national strategy “Azm-e-Istehkam.” The initiative focuses on sustained and coordinated intelligence based operations to eliminate militancy and strengthen internal security.

These Khyber Pakhtunkhwa counter terrorism operations reflect the continued determination of security forces and law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and counter militant threats effectively across the region.
