Security forces eliminated four BLA terrorists in a major intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, the military confirmed on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops launched the raid after receiving credible intelligence about the presence of BLA militants in the area. Security personnel moved in and quickly surrounded the hideout.
The terrorists responded with gunfire, forcing the troops to retaliate immediately. During the fierce exchange, four BLA insurgents were killed, and their base of operations was destroyed.
ISPR reported that the forces also recovered a large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the location. The military revealed that the slain militants were behind several deadly attacks targeting security forces in Balochistan.
The statement further noted that the group was attempting to disrupt ongoing development projects in the province. ISPR also described the network as “Indian-backed Fitnaul Hindustan,” a term used for elements supported by foreign hostile agencies.
The successful strike underscores the commitment of the armed forces to eliminate BLA terrorists and secure Balochistan from external threats and sabotage.
