Rawalpindi: Security forces carried out a successful North Waziristan Operation, eliminating six militants in Mir Ali. The action took place during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) led by the Pakistan Army.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the North Waziristan Operation was conducted to target terrorist elements in the region. Security forces engaged in intense gunfire with the militants. As a result, six insurgents were neutralized.
During the fierce battle, two soldiers embraced martyrdom. ISPR confirmed that the fallen heroes included Major Hamza Israr and Sepoy Muhammad Naeem. Major Hamza, 29, belonged to Rawalpindi, while Sepoy Naeem, 26, hailed from Naseerabad.
The North Waziristan Operation highlights the military’s commitment to maintaining peace in the region. Security forces continue their efforts against extremist elements to ensure national security.
ISPR stated that the sacrifices of these brave soldiers will not go in vain. The North Waziristan Operation serves as another step toward eliminating terrorism from the country.
