RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces have killed six terrorists in a successful intelligence-based operation carried out in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as announced by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release on Saturday.
The operation, prompted by intelligence reports, unfolded during the night of May 3rd and 4th, targeting the presence of terrorists in the region. A fierce exchange of gunfire ensued between security forces and the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of six terrorists and the dismantling of their hideout.
According to ISPR, the slain terrorists were actively involved in various terrorist activities, including attacks on security personnel and the targeting of innocent civilians through acts of violence. Following the operation, security forces initiated a sanitization process in the area, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
