SARRAOGHA: Security forces engaged in an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) successfully neutralized eight terrorists in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan District on Sunday.
The operation, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), was prompted by intelligence indicating the presence of terrorists in the region.
The terrorists eliminated in the operation were found to be actively engaged in various acts of terrorism targeting both security forces and innocent civilians.
Alongside the successful neutralization, the security forces seized a substantial cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the terrorists.
In an ongoing effort to ensure the eradication of any remaining threats, a thorough sanitization operation is being conducted in the area.
