Indian-backed terror networks dismantled in intelligence-based operations across multiple districts
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s security forces have successfully concluded Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan, eliminating 216 terrorists involved in activities aimed at destabilising peace and development in the province.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out through coordinated, swift, and intelligence-driven actions against terrorists operating under Indian patronage.
The ISPR said these terrorist elements were targeting innocent civilians, including women and children, with the objective of spreading fear and disrupting stability in Balochistan.
The operation was launched on January 29, 2026, following credible intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists in the outskirts of Panjgur and Harnai districts, where local populations were facing immediate threats.
During the initial phase, security forces precisely targeted terrorist hideouts, resulting in the killing of 41 terrorists linked to Indian proxy networks.
The statement added that the decisive and resolute response by security forces thwarted attempts by Fitna-al-Hindustan to fuel unrest in Balochistan. Subsequently, large-scale intelligence-based operations (IBOs), combing, and clearance operations were conducted to dismantle sleeper cells across various regions.
Through effective planning, actionable intelligence, and joint efforts involving law enforcement agencies and intelligence services, Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 delivered decisive results, the ISPR said.
As a result of clearance operations, 216 terrorists were neutralised, severely damaging their leadership, command-and-control structure, and operational capabilities.
A large cache of foreign-manufactured weapons, ammunition, explosives, and equipment was also recovered. Preliminary findings indicate organised external support and logistical assistance to these terrorist groups.
During the operations, 36 innocent civilians, including women and children, were martyred, while 22 brave personnel of security forces and law enforcement agencies embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.
The ISPR paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, stating that their courage, professionalism, and unwavering resolve reflect the highest military traditions. The nation stands united with the families of the martyrs and honours their supreme sacrifices.
The statement reaffirmed that under the National Action Plan, the Government of Pakistan will continue counter-terrorism operations with full resolve until terrorism is completely eliminated.
The ISPR concluded that Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 demonstrates Pakistan’s firm commitment—especially alongside the resilient people of Balochistan—to prioritise peace over violence, unity over division, and development over disorder.
