United Opposition Finalizes Strategy for 5 Key Senate Seats
The united opposition has finalized its strategy for the Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to insider sources, the plan includes securing three general seats, one technocrat seat, and one reserved seat for women.
The opposition alliance has decided to back PML-N’s Ishtiaq Amir Muqam, JUI-F’s Maulana Talha Mehmood, and Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Dervish for the three general seats. A vote distribution formula has been agreed upon to ensure their victory.
For the technocrat seat, the opposition will fully support JUI-F’s Dilawar Khan, while PPP’s Rubina Khalid will be the united candidate for the reserved women’s seat. All parties in the alliance have agreed on her nomination.
Sources say this coordinated effort is designed to challenge PTI’s numerical advantage and strengthen the opposition’s presence in the Senate.
