ISLAMABAD: Senators from tribal districts Monday called on Prime Minister imran Khan and discussed the no-confidence motion of the opposition parties against chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani.
According to Khyber News, leader of the House in Senate Shibli Faraz was also present in the meeting. They discussed the strategy to foil the no-confidence motion against chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani. They also discussed the strategy for the approval of the PTI’s no-trust motion against deputy chairman Senate.
The prime minister said that the development work in tribal districts would be accelerated after completion of the bye-elections. He said that the development of the tribal districts was the top priority of the government.
According to sources, the government is likely to nominated candidate for deputy chairman Senate from tribal districts. The senators assured the prime minister of their complete support against no-trust motion of the opposition parties.
