Seven people killed in Rajanpur, Noshehro Feroz road mishaps

NOSHEHRO FEROZ: At least seven people were killed and over 25 others wounded in two separate roadside accidents in Noshehro Feroz and Rajanpur in Thursday’s small hours.
According to Rescue sources, a roadside accident took place overnight at Rajanpur Indus Highway where a bus, trying to stay clear of a camel cart, speeded off into a truck coming from the opposite side.
The head-on collision left at least two people dead and over 20 others wounded. Bodies and the injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Rajanpur.
The injured include women and children. All the casualties are said to belong to Bannu.
Meantime, the other road accident that occurred overnight at National Highway off Noshehro Feroz claimed lives of at least five people.
A passenger van carrying the devotees of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar overturned killing five of the pilgrims and injuring 25 others.
All the casualties were shifted to Civil Hospital Noshehro Feroz. Most of the injured are in critical state; accordingly they are being shifted to Karachi and Hyderabad. 
The passengers of the bus said the accident transpired after the bus went out of control of the over-drowsy driver.
The ill-fated bus was on its way from Sehwan to Ahmedpur Sharqia.
