Shadab Khan: Pakistan Aims for T20 World Cup Final

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has expressed confidence that the national team will reach the T20 World Cup final rather than just the semi-finals.

A video of Shadab practicing before leaving for the next match has gone viral on social media. When asked by a reporter whether Pakistan will only reach the semi-finals, he firmly replied that the team aims to play in the final.

Pakistan recently suffered a 61-run defeat against India, sparking criticism from fans over the team’s performance. Former cricketers have also called for key players — Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi, and Babar Azam — to be dropped for upcoming matches.

Pakistan will face Namibia in their final group stage match on February 18. The match has become a must-win game as Pakistan needs a victory to qualify for the Super 8 stage. Even if the match is washed out due to rain, Pakistan will still advance to the Super 8 with five points.

Shadab’s bold statement comes at a crucial moment, as the team looks to regroup and strengthen ahead of the knockout stages.
