Previously, the record belonged to Haris Rauf, who has taken 133 wickets in 94 matches.
Shaheen now leads the list of Pakistan’s top T20I wicket-takers. Haris Rauf follows in second place with 133 wickets, while Shadab Khan ranks third with 114 wickets in 123 matches.
Former captain Shahid Afridi sits fourth with 96 wickets in 98 matches, and Mohammad Nawaz completes the top five with 91 wickets.
