LAHORE: Former Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday appeared in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Saaf Pani Company scandal.
During hearing, Shehbaz Sharif was asked questions related to the scandal for two and a half hours at NAB Lahore office.
Earlier, representative of Shehbaz Sharif had submitted a reply in NAB on his behalf as he failed to appear in Saaf Pani Company case.
Irregularities worth Rs56 bn in 56 companies established by Punjab government was unearthed. Since then, the anti-graft watchdog had launched a thorough probe into the financial affairs of 56 companies.
These companies have been accused of certain irregularities in recruitment violations and non-completion of various projects in time.
