Shehbaz Sharif Says Nation United With Armed Forces as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday said the entire nation, including the people of Kashmir, stood united in prayer for Pakistan’s armed forces during the recent conflict with India. He said the armed forces responded with strength and professionalism and gave India a lesson it would not forget. He added that this unity reflected the true spirit of Pakistan and showed the world that the nation stands firmly with its defenders.
Addressing an event, the prime minister said Pakistan and Kashmir would rise together on the world map and expressed full confidence that the day would come when occupied Kashmir would achieve freedom. He said national progress and prosperity demand constant struggle and discipline. He stressed that only hard work, day and night, can place Pakistan among strong and respected nations.
Focusing on youth empowerment, the prime minister said talent and determination do not depend on physical limitations. He announced the approval of four Danish schools in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and said the government continues to prioritise education, training and skill development. He said modern education and technology remain central to preparing young people for future challenges.
Defending the laptop scheme, he recalled that critics once labelled it as political bribery. He rejected this narrative and said Nawaz Sharif distributed hundreds of thousands of laptops purely on merit. He said the scheme helped students connect with knowledge, research and innovation without discrimination.
He said a laptop represents more than a device and reflects a long-term vision for national development. He linked the initiative to Pakistan’s future in science, technology and global competitiveness.
Recalling history, the prime minister said millions crossed rivers of blood during the Partition of the subcontinent to turn their dream into reality. He said countless sacrifices laid the foundation for Pakistan’s dignity, stability and survival.
