Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif UAE Visit began on Thursday with his arrival in Abu Dhabi. The premier reached the United Arab Emirates on a one-day official trip, following a special invitation from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
At Al Bateen Airport, Prime Minister Shehbaz was given a warm welcome. UAE’s National Security Adviser, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, personally received him. Also present were Ali Ahmed Al Shamsi, the Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi. Members of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in Abu Dhabi were also at the airport to greet the visiting leader.
Sheikh Tahnoon later escorted the Prime Minister to the Presidential Palace. The high-level reception reflected the strong ties between the two brotherly nations.
Accompanying the Prime Minister on the Shehbaz Sharif UAE Visit is a top-tier Pakistani delegation. The group includes Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Tariq Fatemi, is also part of the delegation.
During this brief but important Shehbaz Sharif UAE Visit, the Prime Minister will meet UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
