Six, including two women and four children- drowned when a boat in which they were travelling capsized in Jhelum River near Pind Dadan Khan on Thursday.
According to initial reports, there were more than 30 people on the boat and it was also loaded with a carry-van, motorcycles and other goods.
The boat was in a dilapidated and was going to Nurpur Patan Malikwal from Sugharpur Patan.
However, the local people started the relief operations on their own.
