Washington: At least six people were killed in a shooting incident in the US state of Mississippi, American media reported on Thursday.
According to reports, the shooting took place in Clay County, where police responded swiftly and arrested the suspect. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the attacker.
Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said the shootings occurred at three different locations within the city. He added that investigations are underway to determine the motive behind the attacks and establish further details.
Police officials said the situation is now under control, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
