Snowfall at Gorakh Hill Station as Temperature Falls to -2°C

Dadu: Sindh’s popular tourist destination Gorakh Hill Station witnessed its first snowfall of the winter season, sharply increasing the intensity of cold in the area.

Located in the Kirthar mountain range of district Dadu, along the Sindh-Balochistan border, the hill station turned into a breathtaking sight after fresh snowfall, delighting tourists and locals alike.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, temperatures at Gorakh Hill Station fell to minus 2 degrees Celsius following the snowfall, resulting in severe cold conditions.

Gorakh Hill Station is known as the only high-altitude, cold-weather resort in Sindh, often referred to as the “Murree of Sindh.” Snowfall in winter remains a rare occurrence, making the event particularly attractive for visitors.

The unusual weather has sparked renewed interest among tourists, with many planning trips to witness the scenic views and chilly conditions.
