FAISALABAD: In a tragic incident in Faisalabad, three sons fatally shot their father on Thursday following a dispute over property. The father had recently sold a piece of land and distributed Rs500 million among his sons.
According to police, tensions arose among the sons after the distribution of the wealth, leading to a violent altercation. The father was gunned down by his sons in Medina Town. Following the shooting, the three suspects fled the scene.
Police have apprehended one of the accused and are continuing their search for the other two. The deceased’s son-in-law reported that there were previous incidents of violence involving the victim and his wife, with two cases already registered for assault.
CCTV footage of the incident has emerged, showing the father being shot multiple times by one of his sons, even after falling from his motorcycle. The conflict was reportedly sparked by disputes over the father’s eviction from the house after the land sale.
Police are investigating further details of the case.
