ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that there is stability in prices, fares and utility bills after announcement of the federal budget.
In a statement, he said criticism of PTI leader Imran Khan in this regard is unjustified.
The Minister said there is no increase in the prices of necessities of life as a result of budgetary proposals for the next financial year. He pointed out that instead the prices of items of daily use would come down due to budgetary proposals.
Pervaiz Rashid said the Government has also lowered the rate of income tax from the existing 5 to just 2% for the income slab of four hundred thousand to five hundred thousand rupees.
He said PML (N) has always done the politics of service to people.
The Minister said it seems Imran Khan was commenting on the budget without going through the document.
He also pointed out that the budget contains a special package for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
