ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has taken decisive action against student hostels located in residential areas of Islamabad, resulting in the eviction of affected students.
In response to this, a group of displaced students staged a protest in front of the National Press Club, expressing their concerns about the impact on their education.
The CDA issued an order targeting existing student hostels in residential zones, prompting the eviction of students from these facilities.
The protesting students emphasized that the enforced relocation is adversely affecting their education.
They are urging authorities to reconsider the decision and allow them to continue their studies without disruption by relocating to hostels that are in closer proximity to their respective universities.
