Web Desk: Ten judges who were recently confirmed as permanent members of the Sindh High Court took oath of their offices on Friday.
The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput at the court premises.
Among those who took oath were Justice Miran Muhammad Shah, Justice Tasneem Sultana, and Justice Riazat Ali Sahar. Other judges sworn in included Justice Muhammad Hassan Akbar, Justice Abdul Hameed Bhurgri, Justice Jan Ali Junejo, Justice Nisar Ahmed Bhanbhro, Justice Ali Haider Ada, Justice Muhammad Ali Qasim Ali Hadi, and Justice Muhammad Jafar Raza.
The ceremony was attended by the Additional Attorney General, Advocate General Sindh, the Prosecutor General, senior lawyers, and family members of the judges.
Meanwhile, Justice Khalid Hussain Shahani and Justice Faiz-ul-Hassan Shah were not confirmed as permanent judges. Their ad hoc appointments have been extended for a further six months, according to official sources.
